FEATURELESS CARD AT KEMPT0N PARK MONTREAL, Que., July 29. The card provided at Kempton Park today was devoid of any special features, but nevertheless was productive of interesting racing. Vansylvia and Mack Garner scored in their races only after hard driving finishes. Chantour came from behind the stretch to win the race for Canadian-bred Jiorses. Mrs. W. II. Deuham, represented in the fifth race by Xo Trumps, claimed Mildred Euretta for 51 from L. Onics. The mare has been sick since the spring meeting at Mount Koyal and showed a dull performance today. At a private sale W. P.. Cross today disposed of his entire string, consisting of Lady Eileen, Vain Chicle, Lean Wrack, Onato and Miss Hilarity, to C. H. Lamothc of Montreal, also the contract on jockey J. McHride. Iamothc has not yet engagvjd a trainer. L. T. Whitehall has traded Hotfoot to W. E. Heechwood for the Canadian-bred Chandelier. Jockey Atkinson, who was ruled off at King Edward Park for an unsatisfactory ride on llighl Angle, departed today for New York. J. G. Hussey returned this morning from Havre le Grace and shipped the horse Superior, which he deserted at Hlue Honnets, to Havre de Grace. The remainder of his horses, which were hold up at the border, have consequently been released by the Canadian authorities. The riding of jockey T. Matthews will he limited to only one horse,- Assumption, here in future. The judges further ruled that only Matthews will be permitted to ride this horse following his unsatisfactory performance yesterday. At the conclusion of this meeting T. C. P.evan will ship Orleans Girl and Winds of Chance to Hagerstown, Md. W. Wolfes Ruufra is destined for the same place. Several other stables have planned to leave here shortly for Erie, Pa., to take part in the racing at the Erie County Fair of six days, from Augusl 22 to 27.
