VERY QUEER INCIDENT IN ENGLAND A queer incident, for which a trainers explanation was accepted by the stewards, turned up at the recent Sandown meeting in Englnnd. Nan San, a mare which ran in tlie Victoria Handicap, was not Nan San but Dutch Toy, which had been delivered in place of the other mare after a sale and raced and was wagered on as Nan San.
