Won driving; second and third the same. BLARNEY l!OY was taken back and saved for the first three-quarters, then wore STATIM down in the stretch and won because best, ridden at the end. STATIM was shuffled back on the first turn and was much used in going to the front and tired when the winner challenged. CARRY OX ran in improved form, but tired badly in the stretch. BUMPETY BUMPS finished fast and outstayed GAZINTA in the final drive. The latter ran well and was hard ridden through the homestretch, but tired right at the end. DODGE tired after passing PONGEE in the homestretch and taking a clear lead. AVAR GOD made n threatening hallenge iit the head of the homestretch, but lost ground in the last eighth.
