BLUE BONNETS STATISTICS Fall Meeting Best in History of Montreal Jockey Club 0,435 Was Distributed. The most successful mectlnj in tlic history of the Montreal Jockey Club was the fall period of racing at Blue Bonnets, held from September 3 to September 10. The generous total of 0,435 -was distributed in stakes and purses, the daily average distribution reaching the good figure of ?8,C33. The racing attracted the foremost of the Canadian turfmen, as well as several prominent stables from the "United States. Keen competition prevailed and brought about sport that delighted the big crowds that patronized Montreals most picturesque race course. The powerful stable of J. K. I. Boss gathered in the lions share of the prizes offered, horses from that establishment winning seven races and 1,175. The colors of Mrs. F. A. Clark were also quite prominent, and the participation of her horses in tho racing at Blue Bonnets resulted In the stable accounting for four races and ,085.
