H. G. BEDWELL ASKS FOR RECOGNITION BALTIMORE. Md., September 21. II. G. BedweH lias filed his colors as an owner with the Maryland. Racing Commission and indicated that he intends to press for recognition of his liceuse as trainer v-lien the navrc de Grace meeting opens tomorrow. It is also probable that jockey Shilling -will secure a mount at the track and put it up to the track management whether his jockeys license shall be recognized. Under the Maryland Racing Commission rules one steward is named by the racing; association; one by tlie commission and the third by the two others. The commission, however, lias, a veto power on all track appointments, including tlie stewards.
