ALL READY AT LEXINGTON Course in Excellent Condition and Prospects Bright for Fine Meeting. . LEXINGTON, Ky., October 22. If the weather during next week is as delightful as it is today, the Kentucky Jockey Club will have nothing to worry about as regards attendance for the six days of the autumn race m6eting that is to open Monday with a good program, as will be noted by reference to the entries Closed here this morning. Edward Jasper and, Julius Reeder came over from Louisville last night and received the entries through the bos here and by telephone from Churchill Downs; where a number of them were made , with racing secretary W. H. Shelley. Jack Bakers string came in this afternoon from j Louisville and others from that city will follow . tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night and Monday , morning, until all are here. Tlie officials and pari-mutucl crew will come over tonight and tomorrow. Superintendent John M. Keegan, recovered from his illness incident to a severe operation for appendicitis, is on his job and has the course in excellent condition. Escoba, purchased a few days ago by Messrs. Barbee, Carrick and Stone from Kenneth D. Alexander, was transferred today from Bosque. Bonita , Farm to Glen Helen Stud, which is to be his home. Minefield, by Rock Sand, and Celesta, by Sem-pronius, both the property of George Wingfield, arrived liere yesterday from the Nevada Stock : Farm at Reno. The former is to be bred to Fair Play and the latter to Sweep. Raymond Belmont arrived here tonight . to attend the race meeting and to arrange about some marcs that are to go to his new breeding establishment in Virginia. Henry Ornard has advised Thomas B. Jones that the fee for King James, which is to stand at Crystal Spring Farm here next season, will be 00, and that he will be limited to thirty mares. Hal Farrell is making preparation to ship eight horses from here next Tuesday to Tijuana, they being Hunters Point, Cigale, Queen of Trumps, Lotta Speed, Bookworm, Trump Curd, Trumpet Call and Garden City, which.he. purchased from Edward Cebrian. Frederick Johnson arrived here last night from New "York to spend a few days with Hal Price Hcadley of Beaumont Farm, where Johnson is part owner of Brown Prince and where he has several mares.
