IMPROVEMENTS AT AINTREE COURSE LONDON. England. February IS.— The work of increasing the stabling at the Grand National Ala-tree cour-e is completed and a number of the boxes are provided with a commodious cupboard for rugs or for fodder which may accompany the horse. All the boxes. 150 in number, are electrically lighted. The alteration to the turn out of the straight on the course is completed. This is jui improvement which, taken in conjunction with the corresponding extension of the bend at the Iwtlom turn, must reduce the value of t he inside berth in the draw for places at the various starting posts. An ailditioiial garage for motor vehicles Is being constructed in the rear of the giandstand niclosure. and will lie ready for use at the Graud National meeting in March.
