SEAGRAM CANADIAN - BREDSI Fine Collection of Two-Year-Olds in Training I for Coming Canadian Racing Season. TORONTO. Ont.. April 3.— An even dozen Cana-dian-hrods will bo trained by the Seagram Stable ; this year, and they are therefore well fortified for jl the Canadian-bred races on the Canadian Racing ; i Associations circuit. In addition lo Sweet Bouquet t and Gallipot, which went to Iimlie-o with the main i division of the stable, there are ten more quartered i at the farm, made up of sis Kings Platers and as t many two-year-olds. i The two-year-olds are the best collection the Waterloo stable has had in years and all of them i should perform well in the juvenile races this year. 1 Pecuniary, a son of Bezant — Miccosukee, is a power- J fully built colt and is as big now as a large num- her of three-year-olds. Coinage, b. g. by Bezant— I Slipper Day. is also a powerful youngster. Impersonator, another of the Seagram breeding and a Plate edigible thiR year, has developed into a -powerful animal over the winter. He started only twice last year, being retired early. However, he showed plenty of early speed, and if he improves 1 in speed as he has in conformation, he will be heard I from. Galbally is another that was retired early. The yearlings are a promising band, with the filly by Ypsilanti II. — Bouquet being a racy individual aud one of the best yearlings the stable has had in a long time. Ike Gala Dress filly is a big-boned animal and came in for more than one look, probably due to the fact that Gala Dress, while carrying this i foal, took part in eighteen races during that sum- i mer. thus demonstrating thai racing does not injure a mare when she is in foal.
