CONTEST TORONTO Ont May 19 The sixtysecond running of the Kings Plate tomorrow at the historic Woodbine course will inaugurate the 1922 Canadian racing season and the spring meeting of the Ontario The race always in the past has attracted the best of Canadianbreds and this years event is no exception Present Indications and forecasts gathered about the dif ¬ ferent hotel lobbies are that the Brookdale Stables entry would go to the post favorite Trainer Walker announced this morning that he was undecided as to starting Resarf and would pin his faith in Paddle Jockey Buxton will have the mount on the Brookdale representative representativeA A drizzling rain which visited this locality last evening and left in Its wake threatening clouds and a touch of cold weather had but little effect on the final preparations for the different entries which go to make up the card for tomorrow Fields of large numbers and of good quality have been named to go in the different races Apart from the Kings Plate the card is a wellbalanced one and should furnish spirited racing The track which was slow this morning should no more rain fall will be in fair condition when the bugle calls the
