WAS CLOUD AND STAR HAWK ON WAY FROM FEANCE LEXINGTON. Ky., July 12. A. B. Hancock stated that he is in receipt of a cablegram from London to the effect that the stallions War Cloud and Star Hawk, whicri he leased from A. K. Macoinber. and the yearling sister to Star Hawk, which he purchased from J. B. Joels consignment to the recent sales at Newmarket, are coming over on the Menomenee, which sailed from the other side last Saturday. The two stallions were in France and were sent across the English channel to catch this boat. They are to stand at Claiborne Stud, near Paris. Ky. "Bud" Wilson left here this morning. He will go to Cleveland in company with jockey Harry Gray, who will ride at Maple Heights. The horses are here in charge of Bob Frakes. who has recovered sufficiently from a recent operation to give them his attention. Tom Welsh, after a visit to Joseph E. Wia-eners breeding farm, the original Elmendorf, which is in charge of George Terry, has returned to New York.
