CHESTERBROOK raced in close pursuit of OPPERMAN to the Htretch, then took the lead, hat tired in the closing strides. OPPERMAN set a good pace to the stretch, but tired when challenged. BONUS began slowly, but improved her position steadily and was gaining at the finish. TR1JYELYAN was hard ridden for the entire race. ZEALOT Bared ground on all the turns and had no mishaps. The latter began slowly, but gradually improved his position and, mating a fast liuisli, would have won in a few more strides. SIREN MAID, shutUcd back in the first sixteenth, closed a gap and was running fastest of all at the finish. NOSE DIVE meed prominently throughout. PICNIC met with repeated interference. WAYWARD LAD was forced back on the first turn and could never secure a clear course. AMBLER raced in closest pursuit throughout and, closing up gamely in the last eighth, was wearing the leader down at the finish. DANIEL loot ground when entering the stretch and swerved iu behind the two leaders in the final drive.
