SCEPTRE TO STAY IN ENGLAND LONDON, England, July 25. Following the storm of protest which greeted the recent sale by Lord Glanely of the distinguished old brood mare Sceptre, by Persimmon Ornament, by Bend Or, to the Brazilian breeder Lundgren the announcement was made today that the deal had been rescinded. Sceptre has been presented by her owner. Lord Glanely, to the National Stud Hospital fund, recently started in honor of King George and Queen Mary.
