EIGHT STAKE RACES FOR I YONKERS FALL MEETING YONKERS, N. Y., July 29. The stake races that arc to be run at the autumn meeting of the Empire City Racing Association in October have been announced and they will close August 14 with secretary Clive Schaumberg. There are eight down for decision and each is of the added money style. For three-year-olds and over there will be the Yorktown Handicap, at a mile and an eighth, with ,000 added, and the Fordham Selling Stakes, at a mile and seventy yards, with. ,000 added. For the three-year-olds there are the New Rochelle Handicap, at a mile and a sixteenth, with ,000 added. The Scarsdale Handicap, at a mile, is for all ages, and has 4,000 added. The other four are for two-year-olds and are the Harts-dale Stakes, at about three-quarters, with ,000 added ; Ardsley Handicap, at a like distance, with ,000 added ; Autumn Day Stakes, for maidens at the time of closing, at five and a half furlongs, with ,500 added, and the Rainbow Selling Stakes, at about three-quarters, with ,000 added.
