KIKK LADY passed ANTONIA when approaching the turn for home and easily held the race safe through the stretch. DELANTE gained steadily on the inside in the final eighth and passed ANTONIA in the final drive. ANTONIA had no mishaps, set a fast early pace aud tired when challenged. MISS JANE saved ground on all the turns, but could never get to the leaders. BILLY BERN closed up much ground. TIP TDK INN was shufiled back shortly after the start and never recovered. ED GARRISON took the lead at once and set a good pace to the stretch, then drew away to win in a canter. SLIPPERY SILVER, away poorly, moved up with a rash after rounding the far turn, but was tiring at the end. GRANDEE raced close up throughout aud finished gamely. TOM ROACH raced in nearest pursuit until midway of the stretch, then tired and quit. CARL ROBERTS dropped out of contention after going the first quarter. PANAMAN was cut off and forced to pull up when running fast when approaching tho stretch turn, then worked his way up on the inside and finished fast. MARY G. ran well throughout and made a game finish. HARRY BURGOYNE finished fast on the outside. OLD SINNER tired in the Gnal eighth. MARMITE was crowded back shortly after the start. BLOSSOM HOUSE was saved close up to the stretch, where he came on the outside of the leaders and, finishing with a rush, easily passed CLIP in the last sixteenth. CLIP took the lead after rounding the far turn and appeared the wiuner after entering the stretch, but quickly gave way when challenged. ADVANCE tired in the stretch after showing the most speed for three-quarters. BARRIS-KANE quit after going a half mile. The latter raced up into a contending posiliou when approaching the stretch turn, but tired badly in the final eighth. COFFIELD began slowly and dropped out of contention in the last quarter.
