LAURA MILLER was outrun to the stretch turn, where she was brought wide, but came fast through the last eighth and got up to win in the final strides. BENGALESE ran well, but tired after disposing of LADY LUXURY in the last sixteenth. LADY LUXURY .moved up fast when coming into the homestretch, but tired after taking the lead. Won driving; second and third the same. TIIE NEPHEW, close up from the start, wore HEDMON down in the stretch drive and got up to win in the last few strides. REDMON showed the most early speed and set a fast pace, but tired. CLAUKSON ran well and outstayed BETSINDA in the stretch drive. The latter ran a good race. MAGIC REED saved ground "when entering the homestretch and, wearing the leaders down, out-finished FLAG OF TRUCE. The latter carried his weight well and forced a fast pace for the rt half, but tired and was inclined to swerve over to the inside in the last eighth. SETHS LEMON set a good pace and raced in the middle of the track for the entire race. ETHEL CLAYTON seemed to have lost her speed suddenly and was outrun for the first half, but was going fastest of all at the end when of no use. MAYPOLE ran well.
