J , t j j NONSKID IN FATAL MISHAP LAUREL, Md., September 25. D. Shaws Nonskid was destroyed yesterday morning. The horse bolted through the inner rail on the track and pierced its neck, severing the jugular vein. Jockey Evans, who was astride at the time, was thrown when the saddle girth broke and escaped with a sprained ankle.
