ROCK ROT-TOM was hard ridden all through the homestretch and outgamed TEN MINUTES. The latter ran well and finished fast. PETTIFOGGER ran well. POW WOW closed a gap. PItKKTER began very slowly, but ran a poor race. ETHNE.V ran a good half. LIEUTENANT SEAS jumped and ran well, but tired after racing into the lead. MINATA closed up ground and finished resolutclv. SEA SERPENT had no mishaps. SEA TALK was ridden wide all the way. DECISIVE led a good part of the way, but tired. MUSTY and PLUMCOT fell at the twelfth jump and EARLOCKER and COURTEOUS fell at the sixth.
