HORSES LORD ASTORS HOBBY Lord Astor, the expatriated American, says it is a good thing for everyone to have a hobby and that his hobby was horses. "Though Ive never yet bet on any of my horses, I love them for themselves." Lord Asters stable has included the famous Winkipop, Trois Temps, Buchan and Craig an Eran. In 1921, with eight horses, he won fifteen races and stakes valued approximately at 514,000.
