The latter set a good pace and made a resolute finish. CARL ROBERTS ran well, but was outpaced by the first two. LUCKY PEARL tired after racing well to the stretch. HAZEL DALE made the early running fast, but could not quite cope with the winners challenge. MILDA did her best and finished close up. VIVA ran out badly in Uie stretch after showing speed.
