Won easily; second and third driving. PERMARCO began fast showed high speed from the start and won all the way us her rider pleased. BLUR BIRD saved much ground by racing close to the inner rail and finished fast and gamely. JOSIE M. raced in closest pursuit to the stretch, but was tiring badly near the end. YORICK was outpaced, but was running fast at the end. LUCIDUS went prominently to the last eighth, where he tired. DONT BOTHER ME was always outrun. 6e SECOND RACE 5 1-2 Furlongs. MACIIIAVELLI began well and was saved close up for the first three -eighths, then came fast through the stretch and, under good riding, won in the last few strides. COL. TAYLOR raced into an immense lead, but began tiring in the last eighth. RUGGLES ran a good race, but was lucky to be third. TWOPAIR was going fastest at the end and would have been third in another stride. LOCARNO came from far back in the last quarter. PROPAGANDA almost fell in the first eighth when crowded. The latter was outrun through the first quarter, but moved up steadily afterward and, under hard riding, held JAKE BERGER safe. The latter began slowly, but made a game challenge in the stretch, then began tiring near the end. FIRE CRACKER had no mishaps. STOCK PIN ran a good half, but quit in the stretch. The latter showed the most speed, but lost ground on the turns and was tiring at the end. SERVITOR had no mishap3 and tired badly in the last eighth. ATTA BOY IL, under good, riding, saved much ground on the turns and, coming fast through tho stretch, took the lead in the last sixteenth and outstayed ATTORNEY. The latter closed a gap and held on gamely through the final drive. RIB GRASS, after moving up fast, dropped back, seemingly beaten; but, under hard riding, got up in the final stride for third place. SERVICE STAR showed the most Bpeed until in the last sixteenth, where he began tiring. EXHORTER tired badly in the last seventy yards after having raced into forward contention in the" stretch. AMAZE raced forwardly from the start and made a game finish, JOHNNY OVERTON was far back in the early running, but closed a big gap and came fast through the stretch. MAIZE ran a good race. ENCRIN1TE began tiring after going well for three-quarters. KING TROJAN finished well. TRAVESTY quit after setting the pace briefly and running well to the stretch.
