MAIJTACHEFFS NEW TRAINER Special Cable. PARIS, France, December 12. The Russian owner, Leon Mantacheff, has engaged James Watson, who formerly trained for Baron E. de Rothschild, to manage his big stable next year. Trainer Baschkirow, who took charge of the Russian owners horses when his former trainer, Wadomski, was forced to give up his work because of bad health, lost his license as a result of the "doping" scandal. There has been much interest in Mantacheffs selection of a new trainer since that time.
