MACOMBER SALE TODAY Tonight at Durlands Racing Academy in New York City the great sale of French bloodstock will be held. The mares to be disposed of under George A. Bains hammer are the consignment from the celebrated Haras du Quesnay of A. K. Macom-ber, recently shipped to this country from France. These mares carry the best blood of England and France and are representatives of the great collection accumulated regardless of expense by the late William K. Van-derbilt. It certainly is a golden opportunity for breeders of this country to replenish their studs.
