! Greentree Stables Winnings in 1922 In respect to money won and general all-around success 1922 gave the Greentree Stable its record year so far. In the course of the year forty-seven horses raced under its colors, many of which have been passed along into other ownerships. Its best money winner and possibly its best race horse, was the excellent two-year-old Cherry Pie, a colt which by right of deeds and ancestry may develop into a high-class three-year-old. Exodus was a good horse for the stable and its second best money gatherer. That he was somewhat unlucky in his racing may be deduced from his ten times second, generally in bitterly contested finishes. He is an extremely fast horse when right and late in the year showed himself to be equal to staying over a considerable route. The old mare Soumangha proved adept at steeplechasing and, in taking several of the richest jumping races of the year, came next to Exodus in money won. Others which won well for the stable were Damask, Nodna, Roi Craig, Letterman, Mohican, Galantman, Peccant and Pandowdy, and its good record was: FLAT DIVISION. Horse. Col. and Scr. A.
