HEROS XII. TRIES HARD TASK Heros XII., the French champion steeplechaser, is still racing, but the handicappers have checked his winning ways with the poundage he has earned. He was recently tried again Tser, Odocare, Corot and other cracks in the Prix Montgomery at Auteuil, under 182 pounds, but could only finish fourth, beaten two lengths.
