HARRY RUDDER sprinted into a good lead after passing the half and, keeping it, stood a hard drive gamely and withstood the challenge of OLLIE WOOD. The latter came fast under hard riding and finished wearing the winner down. HELEN MAJOR raced well and held ERMITANA safe. ERMITANA ran a game race. MILDA began forwardly from the outside and, after racing in close attendance on ELGA, took the lead with a rush after turning for home and, in a fast finish, held NEG safe. NEG stumbled at the start, but recovered quickly and closed up fast in the final eighth. ELC.A set the early pace under sufferance and, tiring in the final eighth, was all out to save third place. SCOTLAND YET was caught in a jam at the start and. when clear, closed a big gap. BREEZE finished fast. BILL RENDERED was a close contender to the last eighth. BILL BLACKWELL ran well and had no mishaps. CHIEF BARTHELL was close up and golug fast at the end. ARYANNA also finished close up. MISS MANAGE ran well to the last eighth.
