MISS MAZIE began slowly, but worked her way up steadily on the outside and, finishing fast, out-gamed GRAY BONNET in the final drive. The latter raced next to the rail and, saving ground on all the turns, tired after taking the lead. CISQUA ran well. NEWPORT finished fast, COURTIER set a good pace to the stretcli and tired. Won easily; second and third driving. REFRAIN challenged after rounding the far turn and, drawing away into an easy lend, won easing up. DRAPEIIY closed a big gap and finished gamely next to the inside rail. JOSEPHINE K. ran well, but tired near the end. FLYING ORB pulled up lame. FOUL WEATHER forced a very fast early pace, but tired when the winner challenged. HURON III showed the most speed to the last eighth and gave way. SEDAN pulled up lame. MEMPHIS set a fast pace, saved ground on all the turns and probably would have won under a stronger rider. KITTY CHEATHAM raced well throughout. NAN finished fast. The latter ran a good race and finishei fast and gamely. COCK 0 THE ROOST finished Cast on the inside. WAR MAP was pulled up whet beaten. HAMAN ran well. PIBROCH was coming through fast on the inside when he was crowded against the fence at the eighth post, then finished fast. HOMAM closed a big gap and finished with a rush.
