"CHARLIE" TRAVIS PASSES ON NEW YORK, N. Y., December 2G. Charles Travis, one of the colored dockers of trials of thoroughbreds and a familiar figure on tho trades around New York for many years, died at the Kings County Hospital of diabetes last week. He returned to New York after the close of the racing season in Maryland, where he had timed the trials for Daily Racing Form, and announced that he would spend the winter in Brooklyn.
