LATE LEXINGTON NEWS LEXINGTON, Ky., December 28. Clyde Van Dusen, owner of Few Acres Farm, near Lexington, today bought the thoroughbred stallion Torclibearer, by Radium Hacklers Pride, by Hackler, from Phil T. Chinn, manager of Himyar Stud, and he has been transferred to his new home on the Todos Road, where he will make the season of 1923. Aran Dusen, former jockey, now trainer, entered the ranks of the breeders a couple of years ago and has some twelve or fifteen mares at his place. The sons of Radium himself has many winners in England, France, Belgium, Italy, South Africa, India and Brazil. Messrs. B. B. and Montfort Jones, who are here spending the holidays with John E. Madden at Hamburg Place, are arranging to ship their stallion Ormondale and several mares from here within the next few days to Audley Farm at Berryville, Va," Harry Pollack, former sporting editor of the New York World, now engaged in oil production in Texas, is spending a few days here looking over thoroughbred horses before returning to Texas from New York, where he spent Christmas. Alex B. Gordon, trainer of the "Bud" Fisher horses, was here this morning arranging with Thomas Piatt to stand the Fisher stallions Prince Pal and Sporting Blood at Brookdale Farm, near Lexington, the coming season. Gordon has twenty horses in his string at Churchill Downs and he says they are wintering satisfactorily. A splendid new barn was today completed on Phil T. Chinns farm in the section known as Tiffany Row on the Paris pike. Edward Cebrian left yesterday for New York to remain until after the holidays. Two of the French mares which he bought out of the Macomber sale have been sick, but are now improving.
