HORSES FOR HAWTHORNE Kentucky Owners Promise to Send Representatives for Meeting Beginning June 30. General manager Thomas Bourke at the Illinois Jockey Club has received assurance th;ti many owners now racing in Kentucky will send some of their horses to Hawthorne for the summer meeting that begins June M. Among them are B. EL Bradley, C. W. Clark. Home Respess. Marshall Bros.. J. S. Ownhey. P. Coyne. Polk laffoon. Ward ft C.oose, Williams Bros, and Mose Coldblatt. The Tijuana delegation will first race at Omaha, then come to Chicago at the conclusion of the Ak-Sar-Ben meeting. It is said that quite a few horsemen who formerly raced in Canada during the summer will come here for the Hawthorne meeting before going North.
