KENTUCKY OAKS NEXT LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 21.— Horsemen at Churchill Downs are now turning their attention to the Kentucky Oaks with its 0,000 added money for three-year-old fillies, which will be decided next Saturday. Trainers of prospective starters are now busily engaged in preparing their charges for the race. The workouts of the intended starters are engaging the attention of the early morning work watchers. Chief interest in Monday mornings gallops centered in the work of James Rowes pair of candidates. Gadfly and Untidy. This pair of crack fillies were sent the full Oaks distance of a mile and an eighth in 1:56%, each performing its task quite easily. They went out together and worked the half in 50, the three-quarters in 1 :15%, mile in 1 :43. Trainer Rowe is well satisfied with the manner in which the fillies are progressing and stated that they would be sure starters next Saturday. Other Oaks gallops that commanded attention were : Playful Miss, mile in 1 Ai% ; Alice Blue Gown, three-eighths in 36*/f, ; Betty Beall, three-eighths in 36; Anna M. Humphrey, half in 49%, and Kitty Williams, three-eighths in 35. , , A
