TICKIJSH secured a clear course on the outside and, display-. ing excellent speed, set a good pace and. saving ground when entering the stretch, tired in the stretch drive and just lasted to win. DREAM OF THE VALLEY began very slowly, but closed a big gap in the first quarter and, finishing gamely, would have won in another stride. SAGAMORE, in close quarters iu the early running, finished with a belated rush when clear and outstayed MIRIAM COOPER. The latter tired near the end.
