TICKIJSH secured a clear course on the outside and, display-. ing excellent speed, set a good pace and. saving ground when entering the stretch, tired in the stretch drive and just lasted to win. DREAM OF THE VALLEY began very slowly, but closed a big gap in the first quarter and, finishing gamely, would have won in another stride. SAGAMORE, in close quarters iu the early running, finished with a belated rush when clear and outstayed MIRIAM COOPER. The latter tired near the end. STAKE ME came fast through the last eighth. DUSK ran poorly in the going. PRKVIEUX quit badly after going well for three eighths.
