As a result of a shooting affray, which took place in the rotunda of the Portage Hotel shortly before noon here today, judges F. Wt. Gerhardy of Detroit and Peter E. Callen of Toronto, Canada, are both lying in the Peoples Hospital in a critical condition. Trainer M. "Slim" Webb is now in custody of the police, charged with the crime.
