DUCKY, displaying a good order of speed in the going and following MISS DOMINO closely to the stretch, passed her into the lead when called on and won casing up. MISS DOMINO set a fast pace, but tired in the last eighth. DANTE raced close up all the way and, finishing gamely, would have been second in a few more strides. PATHAN, off slowly, was forced to race wide for the entire way and lost much ground on the turns. FRIDAY 13TH gained steadily from a slow beginning. At post 1 minute. Start good and slow. Won ridden out; second and third driving. FOBEST LORE, racing well in the going, gradually improved his position after going a half mile and, saving ground when entering the stretch, passed SATELLITE in the last sixteenth and won going away. SATELLITE, away fast, raced WYNNEWOOD into defeat and took the lead on the stretch turn, but was unable to withstand the winners challenge. GOLDEN RULE began slowly, moved up with a rush on the backstretch and made a game finish, but tired. WYNNEWOOD set the pace briefly, but tired after going a half. BIGHEART ran poorly for him. FLY BY DAY forced and set a fast pace and, racing PANDOWDY into defeat, made a game finish when challenged. OSPBEY was hard ridden and raced wide throughout, but could never overhaul the two leaders. RIGEL ran well and finished close . p. PANDOWDY set a fast early pace and tired badly. DOMINIQUE was always beaten. ZKV rushed into the lead quickly and, favored by the soft going and displaying excellent speed, led under restraint for the first mile, then steadily drew away frcm his opponent on the stretch turn into a long lead in the stretch, but was kept under vigilant riding to the finish. PAPYRUS raced in close pursuit ot the leader while on. the outside for the first mile, but was unable to overtake him at any art of the race and, losing ground in the final quarter when put under punishment, swerved to the inner rail and finished a tired colt. FABIAN, shuffled, back while rounding the last turn, finished gamely when clear and was easily best of the others. RINKEY tired in the last eighth. The others ran poorly in the going.
