BEN IRISH SELLS PAPYRUS SPECIAL CABLE LONDON, Eng., Nov. 3. Benjamin Irish has sold Papyrus, but is under a pledge not to disclose the identity of the purchaser, it was learned here today. Papyrus shows no ill effects from his unsuccessful trip tcT the United States for the match race with Zev, according to latest word from his training quarters at Newmarket. It is not likely that he will be started this year, but he will probably be pointed for the big handicaps of next year. Under tho terms of the purchase, the colt is to remain in Basil Jarvis care at Newmarket The price paid for him was not disclosed, but the buyer is an Englishman and the colt will not leave the country.
