Won easily; second and third driving. UNCLE HUGH, away fast, disposed of MOONLADY in the first half mile and, taking the lead in the stretch, -won going away. CHIEF BRANT lost ground by racing -wide on the turns, but finished fast under hard riding. RACHEL D., came from far back in the last eighth. BAYUDA ran a good race. Won easily; second and third driving. QUEEN CHARMING rushed into the lead at once and, holding it well, set a fast pace and won all the way. BAMRA gained steadily from a slow beginning and was racing gamely at the end. BLACK CRACKLE ran a good race, but began tiring in the stretch. BOOTS AND SHOES had a rough race, but closed a big gap. WINNER TAKE ALL was far back for the first half, then began moving up with a rush and, wearing GREAT LUCK down in the last seventy yards, won in the last stride. GREAT LUCK was made much use of in racing RESTING TIME into subjection and tired near the end. RESTING TIME set a gcod pace, but began tiring in the last quarter. The latter, coming with a rush in the last sixteenth, just failed to get up. PINDAR PEEL came fast in the stretch and outfinished CLARENCE. The latter showed fine speed in fast paeemaking, but tired. IN MEMORIAM ran as if much the best and was kept under hard restraint from the start ; and raced by ZEV in the last quarter to win as his rider pleased and could have passed ZEV in the i first mile, seemingly. ZEV showed the most speed from the start, bet began tiring after going a mile and a quarter. MY OWN raced in closest pursuit for the first mile and was done.
