OVER 1,100 RACE HORSES NEW ORLEANS. La., Jan. 2. The 1.1C0 stalls available at the Fair Groundsare. now completely filled, according to Superintendent Ware. Because of the barn which the horses of J. McMillen occupied since their arrival from Bowie being promised to C. N. Freeman, George Phillips, trainer of the McMillen horses, transferred them to Jefferson Wednesday.
