IKE WEILS 1924 STABLE The local sportsman and owner Ike Weil has just returned from a trip to Kentucky. Ho visited John S. Wiggins Military Stock Farm, where Mr. Weils five horses are quartered. He reports that his crack filly Tip Toe Inn, which was fired last fall, has grown and filled out considerably during the winter. The filly has been entered in all the big Kentucky stakes for three-year-olds and over at a mile and over and her owner is confident that she will give a good account of herself, no matter how strong the opposition may be. Mr. Weil has a Kentucky Derby candidate in Runt, by Meridian Queen of- Para-sise, a maiden that appears quit promising. Thero is also a two-year-old filly in the stable, Margaret Carr, by Colonel Vennie Europa, that was named after the youngest daughter of our popular county treasurer, Patrick Carr. Dan T. Morris will train the Weil stable this year.
