TRAINER BAKERS CHARGES 1 . Twenty-Severn Horses in His String at the Lexington Track. Mrs. Louise Yiau, A. B. Hancock and R. S. Clark Own the Thoronglibreds Which Ho Is Preparing for Coming Campaign. LEXINGTON, Ky., Feb. 25. Trainer A. Baker has twenty-seven horses belonging to three owners in his care at the local track of the Kentucky Association. Twelve of them are owned by Mrs. Louise Viau ; eleven by A. B. Hancock and three by It. S. Clark. Mrs. Viaus band is made up of eight two-year-olds and four older horses. Audacious, which held the American mile record until Cherry Pie shattered it last season, and the fast mare, Ten-Lec, are the leading members of the Viau stable. The Hancock stable is made up of seven two-year-olds and four three-year-olds, while Mr. Clark has three juveniles to carry his colors. Trainer Baker developed Wise Counsellor last year for Major T. C. Bradley of Lexington and brought the colt to the form that made him worth the ,000 paid for him by J. S. Ward.
