Won easily; second and third driving. OCEAN CURRENT raced into forward contention soon after the start and, passing SILENT PARDNER after rounding the last turn, tock the lead and drew away in the final eighth. MASTER BILLY finished with a rush and was a fast going second. COCKSURE showed much, speed and finished well. SILENT PARDNER tired after setting the early pace and being prominent to the last eighth. Wen driving; second and third the name. FIESTA, well ridden, moved up gradually aud. finishing fast on the outside, raced into the lead when seventy yards out, then tired and barely lasted to win. HOBEY BAKER, racing in improved form, came fast under hard riding and would have won in another stride. FLEA showed improved speed and finished gamely. GREEN SPRING was a forward contender to the last sixteenth, where he tired. AL WICK and TOUGH AND TIGHT were going fast at the end. MISS FRYER made a threatening challenge after turning for home, then tired. PHRONE WARD raced well, but tired badly in the final drive and was lucky to save third place. ROMULUS closed a great gap from a slow beginning and finished fast and gainjns. FRANK S. stumbled soon after the start and almost unseated his rider. GOLD BRYAN, showing much speed, raced into the lead midway of the stretch, but, when challenged by the winner, could not quite withstand his rush. PIEDRA "was caught in a jam at the start, then moved up steadily on the backstrottfl, but tired in the final quarter. THE WIT closed a gap and finished with a belated rush.
