GREAT WATERS went to the front with a rush and drew away into a long lead, but tired badly in the last eighth. ETHEL F. began slowly and waa undeff a hard drive to otitfinish LADY HALDEMAN. GARDNER began slowly, but gained steadily and finished fast and gamely. ROYAL QUEEN alternated in paccmaking, but was much used in racing LEONA DARE into defeat and tired. JACOBEAN tired after being made much use o in the early racing and taking the lead. FINANCIAL ROOSTER set the pace to the stretch and quit.
