Won handily; second and third driving. WHIFF, forwardly placed and slightly impeded while rounding the far turn, came fast through the final quarter and outstayed ODD SETn at the end. ODD SETH showed the most speed and, when challenged, made a game finish. MALVERN was hard ridden and did his best. CYPREME dwelt at the start, then closed a big gap and may have been best. NEW BEAUTY set a fast pace and, while under restraint, held sway easily to the last eighth, where she was hard ridden to win. DOCTOR CORBETT came arouhd the leaders when turning for home and, finishing with a great rush, outstayed TRUSTY. The latter ran a good race. RONDELLH steadily held her position. TEN BUTTONS tired. CEDRIO made up ground and finished with a rush. CAVEAT EMPTOR was in close quarters right at the end. DICK TERPIN and FURIOUS BILL both tired.
