LITTLE THISTLE, after racing ATONEMENT into defeat, drew out into what appeared an easv lead midway of the stretch, but was tiring at the end and barely lasted to win. BARN DOLLAR came with an electric burst of speed and just failed to get up in a close finish. FAST BOY showed speed and raced gamely. A. LESTER made a threatening challenge when an eighth ut, then seemed to tire and ran below his true form. ATONEMENT tired badly after making the pace to the stretch. CADMUS showed improvement. The latter, from a slow outside start, gained rapidly after leaving the backstretch and, finishing with a great rush through the stretch, showed in fmnt momentarily when twenty yards out, then tired. BUSTER KEATON carried his weight well and set a good pace and after being passed made a resolute finish. MY DADDY was a forward contender to the last eighth, where lie gave way. CYPREME closed a big gap. GOLDFIELD tired. The rider on POSTILLION pulled the latter up while rcunding the first turn for no apparent reason. Scratched 77949Spoar Shot, 113; 77SS5 Rock and Rye, 110.
