COHN STALLION IS LEASED Granely, 1922 Lincolnshire Winner, Replaces Jaeger at Hobson Stud Farm. Captain Jefferson Davis Cohns English-bred stallion Granely has been leased for tho coming season to Clement Hobson, proprietor of the Varaville Stud in France. Granely will replace Jaeger, Hobsons successful siro, which recently met with an accident that makes him unavailable for breeding purposes this season. Granely has a strong infusion of American Mood through his sire Orby, winner of the Epsom Derby in the colors of Bichard Croker. Orby was a son of Orme and the American mare, Bhoda B., by Hanover. Although this American staiu is considered a bar to equine greatness in England, tho French do not take the British attitude seriously. French breeders esteem these American blood lines highly, and Granely is expected to be well patronized.
