Won easily; second and third driving. : SHASTA EXPRESS rushed up to the leader soon after leaving the baekstretch and. racing into a long lead, won in a canter. CHULA VISTA closed a big gap and outstayed RUNPRESERVE in the : final strides. The latter from a fast beginning showed the most early speed, but tired badly in the final eighth. SUPER LADY also tired in the final drive. LITTLE BAT had no mishaps. INTAKE wheeled at the start and cut off STAY ON. Scratched 7S082 Voorflor, 107; 779S4 Nacomee, 104. Won easily; second and third driving. HARTELLE raced into a long lead on the baekstretch and, while keeping it, was tiring near the end 3nd had to be ridden out to win. JOHN ARBOR, last at the start, closed a great gap in a fast finish. FLEA meed well, but tired badly in the final sixteenth. ITNDINE finished fast. MONTJOY raced forwardly to the last eighth, where he quit. BILLY LANE quit after setting the early pace. Won easily: second and third driving. OCCIDENTA waited on SMILING for a quarter, then tok the lead and, although coming wide after turning for home, outstayed MIZANNA in the final drive. MIZANNA, after forcing OCCIDENTA at lop speed, made a threatening challenge midway of the stretch, but tired and was lucky to save second place. MARY CONTRARY finished with a belated rush. DELL EVANS, away fast, cet the pace until midway of the stretch where he was headed by BOOMERANG, but came again into the lead under hard riding and easily drew away at the end. ROOMERANG raced into the lead after turning for home and appeared all over the winner, hut tired and had to be hard ridden to save second place. CHESTNUT GIRL showed a good order of speed and made a resolute finish. HARRY BURGOYNE showed some early speed. WILD THOUGHTS ran a bad nice. DAN ARVI ran well. FORT CHURCHILL, after racing on the outside in the best going, forged to the front after entering .the stretch, but was forced to give way to the winner right at the end. EMMA WILLIAMS clreed a gap and made a game finish. FINIS GI.ORIOSUS tired badly. ARCTIC KING failed to finish with hia expected rush. HARRY I, set a good pace to the stretch and quit badly.
