ā€” 6 SENATOR NORRIS ATTRACTS Preakness and Derby Candidate Pleasing to the Eye ā€” Cos-den Horses Look Good. BALTIMORE. Md.. April Lā€” There is a considerable colony of horses at both Havre de Grace and 1imlico. Some of these will be called on to p-rform at Bowie, while others will not be seen under silks until the racing moves on to Havre de Grace or Fim-lico. Just now the colt that is attracting more attention than any other is Senator Xorris, that will bear the Kenton Stable silks for H. G. Bed well. As one spojtsman put it, "He looks like a million d illars." Bedwell was congratulated on all sides on the report that his entries were received in Kentucky without question, though they had been refused in New York by order of the stewards of the Jockey Club. It is the present Intention to have Senator Xorris try tor both the Preakness and the Derby, and he will at least have a strong Maryland following in both of these rich stakes should be hold his present form In May. The J. S. Ooaden horses are also attracting attention. Woods Garth has a dozen of them at Havre de Grace and his father, the genial Billy, will have the main string at Pimlico, where the best effort will I e put forth. All fif these are well advanced from training at the Cosden farm and may be expected to cut an important figure in early racing.
