GOVERNOR DAY AT HUNTINGTON TRACK HUNTINGTON, W. Va.. April 16. -Governor K. F. Morgan of e t Virginia paid his initial visit to the Tri-State course this afternoon to witness the racing, over which he expressed himself as bring very enthusiastic. Accompanying the governor were a number of the Officers of the fifth corps area. Including general Altman, colonels Shaw, Rhodes, Parker, Murphy, Bates and Conger, majors Trippe, Hill :ind Thomas and captains Phillips. Simmons and Lewis. The lady memhers of the party included Mrs. Bisse], Mrs. Trippe, Mrs. Hill and Mrs. Parker. The party was rewarded by some spirited r. icing. This being Gove mors Day, a handicap of one mile, the tifth race, was provided as a feature and the event was productive of a keen stretch struggle in which Dreamer only headed Topango in the closing strides.
