TORONTO RIDER PROMISING HAVRE DE GRACE, Md., April 28.— Wilfred Marriner, an apprentice, who has attracted favorable criticism by his riding at Havre de Grace, is a Toronto boy. His home address is 41 Sutoon Avenue, and he graduated from the maiden ranks at Bowie astride Overtake. At the Bowie and Havre de Grace meetings he had fourteen mounts up to the opening of Fridays racing. In this series he won six races and was only five times out of the money. The boy is under contract to G. Alexandra, having been in his employ since June. The boy observed the seventeenth anniversary of his birth on June 14. Stanley Gillespie will make his engagements in Maryland and Canada.
