April 29.— Golden Billows resumed her winning way in the Pagebrook Purse at Havre de Grace today. She had won six races this year, finished second twice and was unplaced once. In her last start she was beaten a few days ago by Golden Rule. Wallace had the leg on the four-year-old daughter of Golden Maxim today. She wen by a length at the end of a mile and a sixteenth from Minto II., the favorite. Blue Hawk finished third in a field of five. Golden Billows was rated behind Banter until he quit on the turn and then proceeded to hold Minto II. safe to the advancement of the fortunes of F. A. Tanser. In the Madonna Purse, run as the fifth race, Nancy Langborne. from the Longridge Stable, came home in frcnt after a contest at a mile and seventy yards. Thimble finished second to the three-year-old daughter of Flittergold — Martha Lee. Yankee Prin-| cess completed the journey ahead of the others. Blue Moon, the first choice, was a badly beaten favorite and lost supporters for her Pimlico Oaks engagement. Fleet Prin-! cess and Flirtation completed the field.
