Won handily; second and third driving. DKLMOR began well and was taken under restraint and, moving up resolutely after rounding the stretch turn, finished fast under hard driving and. passing ST. ALLAN, was going away in the final sixteenth. ST. AIJAN showed the most speed from the start and raced HICH HANI into defeat, but oonld not withstand the winners rush. HOMKSTAR was unprepared at the start, hut closed up con-niderable ground and finished fast. HICH HANI showed early speed, but tired. RKMNANT raced on the outside all the way. CURTIS fell lame. AlEX began flatfooted and was pulled up in the final quarter. Won driving; second and third the same. HICH COMMANDKR, close up from the start, finished resolutely when called on and, passing JAUNEBAR. was going away in the final drive. JAUNRRAR showed -the most speed and saved groimd on the turns, but tired in the stretch drive. POOR SPORT was a forward contender from the ■tart and outstayed SCARE CROW at the end. The latter finished resolutely after overcoming early interference. TRITR ran well all the way. MITAU finished fast on the outside. FIRST PICK pulled up lame. Scratched— 80087 LEclair. 109. DUCOLT also began slowly, but came witli a rush on the outside and would have won in a few more strides. HIDALGO came fast at the end. SOCRATES tired in the final sixteenth. MASTER BILLY was always outrun. PEANUTS finished well. POCKET MOUSE and BARNEY GOOGLE raced each other into exhaustion. BRAINSTORM set a fast pace under slight restraint, saved ground on the turns and. withstanding an early challenge from ROLAND, raced HOROLOGE into defeat when the latter challenged, but was doing his best at the end to outfinish the fast coming VALADOR. The latter moved up rapidly when in the stretch and finished with a rush. HOROLOGE ran well and had no mishaps. CHERRY PIE was always outpaced and is not at his best. ROLAND ran well to the stretch. WATER GIRL was a forward contender frcm the start, but outfinished JAY BEN at the end. GAY BEN ran a good race. PRIMA DONNA tired after racing into forward contention. LAGOON set the early pace and quit. ROYAL CHARLIE met with early interference.
