NOTE O LOVE set a fast pace from the start, but tired and swerved out near the end. NIGHr SHADE was running fast and gamely at the end. BETTY MALONEY began fast, but .was outrun and tired badly. MAINMAST was outpaced to the stretch, but finished gamely and was going fast at the end. SARKO set a fast pace to the last eighth, but tired slightly when called on for the final drive.
